Azelaic acid is a well-established part of biotrade’s portfolio. Today, we are expanding this category with another new product – AzeB3 Barrier Protect with 14% azelaic acid, formulated with a focus on active care for skin imperfections and the skin barrier. 

The new product complements the existing AzeB3 intensive cream, which contains 20% azelaic acid and 6% niacinamide, and offers another way to incorporate azelaic acid into your daily skincare routine. 

AzeB3 Barrier Protect, containing 14% azelaic acid, has been developed for skin with imperfections, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores and a tendency to redness. The formula combines 14% azelaic acid and 6% niacinamide, with the addition of ectoine, inulin and hyaluronic acid. 

The focus here is on striking a balance between active skincare and protecting the skin barrier. Azelaic acid targets blemishes, skin texture and pigmentation, whilst niacinamide complements the formula by regulating sebum and supporting the skin barrier. Ectoine, inulin and hyaluronic acid provide hydration, soothing and support for the skin microbiome.
